And while a test will confirm, a lot of them are out of pocket and won't necessarily change corse of treatment. I know 2 weeks feels like an eternity, but in the meantime look into some basic detoxification, and ph balance . Alternatively one can order the borrelia immunoblot. Then, if that is positive, order the tests for co-infections as this would be cheaper. While no test on the market is considered very accurate, this IGeneX test is the most accurate one available. False negatives will be common, but false positives. We were finally able to afford the IGeneX test for our 14 yr old son. We had it done on January 30.
